Showcase itself was pretty great, it was nice to see everyone and talk to other alums, some that I haven't seen in years. It was also nice having new friends in town for a week. I got to play tour guide with Karyn, and take her around to some of my favorite places. Karyn was the girl Nick and I stayed with in London. Also, Dave and Tim were in town, who were two of the guys I worked with in Sulivan. It was great!

Man, the trains have been awful lately. Kelly says they are always like this right before they hike up the prices, and indeed a pretty steep price raise is about to happen. From $2 a ride to $3. When I was here for showcase last year it was $1.75. That's double in a year!

Rednecks in the city.PS- Yesterday was the 4 year anniversary of buying my laptop. I love this computer so much!! It runs so well still that all my friends assume I have the next generation up (which has a built in webcam) and get confused when I can't video chat.
