I discovered that the grocery store I go to has one of those 50cent machines that dispenses "Facial Disguises". I'm still trying for the sideburns.

And if you're wondering (Sarah) where you can score those great earrings, the answer is you can't because I made them.

Just some catching up...

Kelly dragged me to a superbowl party and I amused myself by making friends with a very, very fat cat. This was my attempt to show some scale at how fat he was.

Awww, he made me miss Ben a lot.

Adventrures in Brooklyn. Our friend Jo called me and Kelly for emergency help moving one morning. No prob, we thought. A few hours unpacking a truck we thought.
Instead, this turned into a 6-hour long trek to Brooklyn. First, we had to return the truck to the rental place. Then we got stuck in traffic. Quickly we had to change routes because Jo is a nanny and she had to pick up the kid at 3. Then Kelly and I has to squish into the area between the only two seats in the truck. Kelly tried to navigate to Jo, thanks to her iphone, while I gave the kid his snack and tried to amuse him. Keep in mind that Kelly could not actually see where we were while navigating. It was fun.

And returning the truck was only half the adventure. After dropping it off at the rental place in Brooklyn we still had to try to find our way out of Brooklyn, kid in tow.

The return of Silly Sydney

Silly Sydney has to return to Missouri soon, which is sad. Here's the last of the pictures. We sure had fun with him!

Office Nights!!

So in Vienna, Michelle and I used to gather every Sat (the night we could finally get ahold of The Office, which airs on Thursday) and make dinner together and watch it.
Then when I came back this became a tradition with my friends in the states. We would usually gather at Mikeys or Alli and Melinda's, theirs being the two biggest apts, and we would all make dinner together, and watch The Office, some nights we would hang out after and watch movies, or play board games, or if people had a lot of homework we'd just work and talk, whatever. But everyone made room in their schedule, and even those who didn't like The Office would come. It was just really important to us that we all hang out together that one night a week.
Kelly and I have continued this in New York, even though some nights it's just us two. Anyway, partly because tonight was a fantastic Office night and partly because I just found back my other SD card with way old pics on it (as far back as when I worked in Sullivan!!!) here's some Office night pics. There actually aren't that many. We didn't take too many pictures on Thursdays. Unlike every other day.
