Ok, so here's the deal.
I'm obviously going to be in a foreign country. And while I'm planning on trying to stay in touch with everyone, it would be really tedious to tell everyone what was going on all the time. Not to mention try to share photos. So, instead of trying to send out a mass e-mail every few weeks, I'm posting a blog.
I still plan on trying to stay in touch with people individually, but this way I don't have to worry about trying to update people on what I've been up to.
Instead, I can update my blog as needed, and you can choose to view or not view as you like. If you want to know what I'm doing you can choose to come here and read this. If you really don't care I'm not going to waste your time.
Plus, if you really want to know what's going on, you can ask me to add you to the e-mail list, and it will e-mail you everytime I post a new blog.
Easy way to let people know what I'm doing, plus no mass e-mails.
