Hey!! So, I'm slowly getting my pictures from my trip up. I have a lot of pictures and not a lot of free time. So, here is the first day:
Nick has better pictures, but since we flew with standby tickets, we ended up getting "Business Elite"- first class!! It was awesome!!! This is a picture of my chair mover remote thing. We got menus for dinner!! Menus!! I had butternut squash ravioli and an appetizer plate of crab salad and cous-cous and a fruit and cheese plate. And then I watched Wall-e and the office. And slept on the feather pillows they gave us. It was insane.

I think I have been in New York too long because I was fascinate the whole trip with how clean the Tube was. It was so clean!! And it runs on time and then show you how long you have to wait and only one train runs on a track and...man, I really really hate the New York Subway.

We went out for breakfast and I was amused by the spelling.
Karyn at Breakfast, and if you'll notice- I am finally in a land that puts milk in my tea and doesn't just look at me funny when I ask for that.
I love tacky Christmas decorations.
Our friend Mark, who graduated with me at Webster, is currently wandering around the globe for a few months, and lost his credit card, so he had to have a new one sent somewhere so he used Karyn and Shelly's address, and then swung by London for a few days to pick it up and visit. So we got to see him.
Covent Garden
I'm very excited!! As you may or may not know, Covent Garden is the old hangout of Eliza Dolittle. My Fair Lady!!
Lilacs!! Are there lilac trees in the heart of town? Yes there are!!!

So Shelly, who is also a directing major at Webster just like Kayrn, was directing a small show in London. Nick and I were going to go see it, but she needed to get there way before us, and Mark had already seen it. So we seperated from them and Nick and I wandered the city and then went to Shelly's show.

The lampost thing started out as a My Fair Lady reference, and grew into an obbession.
The guy behind Nick is wearing a leather jacket with Evanesence painted on the back. It was really funny. Shelly's show was in the attic of this pub, it was a weird space but pretty cool.

After the show we went out to eat. At a restraunt where all the food is Hummus. Best. Idea. Ever.

This is on the walk home. We love light boxes, lights of any kind really...go figure.
It's Freddy on the street where you live!!!
So this picture was taken at 3am. And you can't tell but it's freezeing. A fire alarm went off that night in the dorms, so we all had to leave untill they checked that it was ok to go back in. It was so cold!!! When the alarm went off I was just going to ignore it, I was very tired. But Karyn woke me up and we slowly got dressed and left, which was pretty funny becuase other people were just running out in PJs. Then as we were leaving I went and grabbed my camera and passport. Then doubled back for my journal. And as it turns out, Nick did the exact same thing. So that's what this picture is showing off.

We were flight 1, which we thought was kinda cool.
This is my best impression of Kelly, who recently was given a work phone- a blackberry, and has unintentionally because of that turned into one of those New Yorkers who walks around with their huge Starbucks and Blackberry. It's pretty funny.
